Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Snake & Ladder handles information when you use the game.
Information the app may process
Offline game progress, preferences, and settings are stored on your device. If online play is enabled, the app may use Firebase Authentication to manage an account identity and Cloud Firestore to store game-room state, leaderboard information, display name, and gameplay records.
Google Mobile Ads may process advertising identifiers, device or app information, diagnostics, approximate location inferred from network information, ad interactions, and consent choices to provide, measure, and protect advertising. The app does not combine a persistent Android device identifier with the resettable Advertising ID.
How information is used
- Provide offline and online gameplay.
- Maintain rooms, rankings, progress, and preferences.
- Display and measure ads, prevent fraud, and respect consent choices.
- Diagnose crashes, protect the service, and improve reliability.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by Google services used by the app, including Firebase and Google Mobile Ads, only for the purposes described above. We do not sell personal information.
Account and data deletion
To request deletion of your Snake & Ladder account, or only some associated online data, email kundanbaba@gmail.com from the address linked to your account. Use the subject “Snake & Ladder data deletion request” and state whether you want the entire account or selected data deleted.
After identity verification, we delete the Firebase account identity and requested online profile, room, leaderboard, and gameplay records. Security or legal records may be retained only where required by law, and deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days. Local data can be removed immediately by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
Children
The app is a general-audience board game. Advertising and consent settings are configured to follow applicable age-related requirements. Children should use the app with a parent or guardian where required.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no electronic service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can change ad-consent choices where the consent control is available, use offline play without an online account, and remove local data from Android settings.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are published.
